Optimism

Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement” Hellen Keller

… Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.

To be optimistic is to live in joyful hope for a better outcome. It is to see the stars in the night even while you lie in the gutters.

In the spirit of optimism, we are led to be grateful for every little thing until whatever we have turns into enough. So, start each day with gratitude. It is a sure way to happiness because:

It is not happiness that brings gratitude but rather gratitude that brings happiness” Jeremiah Say.

“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”

Optimism leads us to believe that we are braver than we think, more talented than we have discovered, more capable than we can imagine.

Optimism focuses our minds forward because it shutters the doors of anger, grudges, regret, worries, opinions and exoectations. In that realm of focus and drive, we make improvements instead of excuses, seek respect instead of attention.

Optimism causes us to smile more than we worry, feel more blessed than stressed and love other than hate because as we show compassion to ourselves, we become more capable of expressing love to others.

In the spirit of optimism , we worry less about what we can’t control but rather shift our energy to what we can create.

We can go to sleep not afraid of the dark but in expectation of the dawn.

Walk through the rain not in resignation to the darkness of clouds but grateful for the life it brings with every drop that touches the ground while we look out for the rainbows.

The heat of the sun is not irritating because after all everything that breathes owes the sun. It’s warmth is like an wholesome embrace.

Optimism calls for trust in your journey, being patient with yourself, believing that tomorrow is worth living.

Even when you are in the dark feeling buried, hope says you’ve been planted. It gives one sight for the good even in the bad, courage to seek gain from your pain

Instead of asking ourselves, “What if I fail? ” We ask, ” What if I succeed ?” Either way, the best way to find out is by doing that scary thing that you so desire.

We make opportunities of our difficulties other than make difficulties out of our opportunities.

” Part of being optimistic is keeping one’s head pointed towards the sun, ones feet moving forward. ”

Nelson Mandela Madiba
