Anytime is prayer time. By all means pray.
When you’re happy and rejoicing; pray in Thanksgiving.
Even when you’re tempted to feel anxious and worried,
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philipians 4:6-7
When you’re sad and barely hanging on and the sky seems to be coming down.
When you feel helpless and weak;
“The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. 8 The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.” Psalm 28: 7-8
Pray with words, with music, in silence, in private and in public.
Pray even when neither your mouth nor mind can form the words. The Lord who searches our hearts and knows what we need even before we have uttered a word will hear see the silent mess that is your thoughts or thoughtless mind. He will lovingly carry you in His arms.
Showers of blessings.
