I sometimes lose hope looking at the state of the world and seeing so much negativity, anger and hatred. I have seen a number of peope who have decided that they won’t bring children into such a world. I know though that when we look around intently we shall find so much good going on, so much love too, kindness and joy.
My stand today is; the world can change. Oh, yes it can. How does the world change ? Good people raising their children right.
Teach them the value of people over things. Love them completely and show them how to love others. Teach them to be kind in their dealings with kindred and strangers in need. Teach them the value and depth of wisdom in the world of perceived knowledge ; they’ll be outstanding if they can apply wisdom to their knowledge. Teach them that it is common to do good in the full view of others but more profound if they can do right and good where no one is seeing and no praise may be received. Teach them to respect others and to respect themselves.
There are so many values indeed that should manifest the beauty and love in humanity and as the old saying goes, “Charity begins at home”. Hurt people hurt people. Whatever we plant in the children will grow and the world will be either a better place or a worse and dangerous place for it.
