The problem with this phenomenon is that we live through life travelling on a road of ups and downs, highs and lows never recognising the beauty and small graces because we are acting a joy for the destination. We miss out on the beautiful moments, the small and little things that make us smile, that trigger laughter, that bring us closer to our loved ones. We miss out on the beauty of all the sceneries leading to the mountain top.
We can’t wait until we are extremely rich to have the most fun or when we are learned and got diplomas and degrees to feel successful. Even then, success doesn’t guarantee happiness and so it is important to distinguish the two; and to live life waiting for success inorder to become happy takes a whole lot of missed opportunities to enjoy precious moments of pure joy.
