Okay, I did “steal” that from Jay Sherry’s Instagram . But that’s because it spoke to me in the moment. It really is easy to see flaws because after-all they are a bump on the whole big skin, a spot on an otherwise perfect surface, a bend in an otherwise flawless shape or line. Point is, if you look around and beyond the flaw, you find a world of positivity. Have you noticed that if you have a fresh pimple on your face, touching it feels like touching a lamp? The problem with negativity is it’s rarely whispering. Even if it rises from within it sounds so strongly loud and is very easy more often than not to believe it.
I want to be my gifts and bigger than my flaws and so should we all. Let’s lead with our gifts, talents, beauty, brilliance, brightness, kindness, creativity,….and our flaws will be treated to the starvation they deserve.
