“Whatever you think you want from someone else, Give it to yourself first.”
~Unknown~
No one knows how to love you like you know.
No one knows how to validate you like you can.
As the world sees you love yourself, the world learns how to love you.
Most of our frustration with people comes from asking them for what they can’t give.
You demand love, affection and validation from people and constantly they fall short and time and time again your frustration with them grows.
It is in our best interest and that of others if we could learn to love ourselves and give ourselves the tenderness that we think we deserve.
The logic is, if you love yourself and someone else is doing the same for themselves, you know how to love others and others know how to love you.
You can’t give what you don’t have and they can’t give you what they don’t have.
If love is familiar to you, you’ll best know to recognize it and easily receive it when it comes knocking.
Also, you can’t know when you’re not being loved right if you don’t know what that right love should look like.
Be kind to yourself. Be forgiving of yourself, you deserve it. You deserve love and tenderness. Smile from your heart. Feed yourself; body, mind and soul – you deserve wholeness. Laugh a hearty laugh at every opportunity. Allow yourself to learn and to unlearn and relearn. Set standards and boundaries, it’s your life and only you can live it.
Showers of blessings.
