You might feel like everything is falling apart. Sometimes the burden you bear may feel like you are walking around carrying a giant tumor. No, you won’t crumble. You are stronger than you know.
Let your underestimation fill your determination. Don’t listen to the voices that echo your limitedness but rather look at the qualities that make you capable of making possible your dreams and vision. Speak into your heart the limitlessness of your capabilities.
As a distressed teenager, I got through high school by reminding myself of the Akeela line, “Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate; our greatest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”. It is true that sometimes we are more afraid when we think of the power we possess because it also brings to light our limitations in the pursuit of our potential. We know what we can do but we are also wearily aware that we don’t have all the courage, enough knowledge, the right skills, the required platform/ opportunity(ies).
Start where you can today with what you have by simply making the next right step . Maybe you are gifted to have a wonderful support system and a team of either family, friends or both to cheer you on or you don’t have that. If you don’t, cheer yourself up and encourage yourself. After all no one can fully comprehend your journey like you. With time you’ll find people to get into your corner.
If you are big on mantras, please use them. If you can use daily affirmations, excellent! Speak life into your future, speak positivity, courage, strength, light, love upon yourself.
If you believe in Christ like I do, use the word of God to reaffirm your position in the sight of God and in His heart…. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. The Lord tells me to not be afraid. ….
