Walk tall when you see from a fall. Dust yourself and rise. You loved, you fought, you lost. You came, you showed up and showed out. That’s okay. Get on up and stand on your feet; shoulders back and square, chin up, eyes forward and walk tall.
The greatest shame is what we carry within ourselves and perceive with our mind. Lose it. That was a kink in the line. Straighten it out. It doesn’t define the entire journey. Quit with blaming yourself for things that passed a long time ago. Besides the self blame will not change the past. What you have is today.
Walk tall if you are made to feel different. There is an ugly boredom in monotony. Fitting in is being a shadow of yourself and walking in the shadows of others. So, don’t hunch your back to be level with the crowd.
Walk tall even if your scars are clear as the day. They tell your story; where you’ve been and the battles you have fought and won because your presence in this moment is evidence of your victory. You conquered that day, that moment. You earned your right to be here by that.
Walk tall if you are weak and vulnerable in the moment. None of the visibly strong people bears the strength to be you. Only you know how to be you everyday.
Walk tall when your journey is not understandable to most. They have theirs to walk and to understand. As long as your vision is clear you’ll be glad you didn’t crawl up in the doubt and fear as long as you are living your most authentic life.
You owe it to yourself to straighten up and walk.
